ferries, shuttles and the border gate
Getting to Cotai from Macau and Hong Kong
City of Dreams sits on the Cotai Strip, a short free shuttle ride from both the Macau peninsula and the Hong Kong ferry terminals.

From Hong Kong, by ferry
The Hong Kong–Macau ferry network (TurboJet and Cotai Water Jet) crosses from the Hong Kong–Macau Ferry Terminal in Sheung Wan in around an hour. The Cotai Water Jet specifically lands at Taipa Ferry Terminal, a few minutes from City of Dreams on the resort's own free shuttle.
From the Macau peninsula
City of Dreams' free shuttle bus also connects the resort to the Macau Border Gate (the land crossing from Zhuhai), the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge port and the Hengqin border.
From Macau International Airport
The same free shuttle network runs directly between the airport and City of Dreams, useful for visitors flying in rather than crossing by ferry or land.
Once you're on the Cotai Strip
Shuttle times differ between weekdays and weekends and the last buses leave City of Dreams in the late evening, so check the current schedule on the City of Dreams website against your booked session time.
Book your ferry or shuttle time around the show
Since City of Dreams runs this ticket on its own calendar of dates and sessions rather than one fixed nightly slot, work backwards from your booked session time when you plan the ferry or shuttle leg, rather than the other way around.
The border crossing itself
Hong Kong and Macau are separate jurisdictions, each with their own immigration control, so a passport (and any visa your nationality requires for Macau) is needed whichever route — ferry, bridge or land border — you take between them.
